6 Creedmoor

Just received my 6 Creedmoor built by Moon at Crescent Customs. The rifle really likes the 105 hybrids and 42 grains of H-4350 @ 3168 fps.

Ahhhh! Looks very nice. That would be very close to the rig I would consider my top choice.
What twist does it have? Total weight? Scope? Thanks. Congats!

The rifle is a trued Rem 700 with a Bartlein Med Palma barrel, 7.7 twist, Badger DBM and MB, Manner's T-5 adj stock, Jewel trigger, with a Leupold Mark 4 FFP tactical scope. the rifle is right at 10 lbs without the scope.

Took the 6Creed out for some steel shooting, these are the results.
1. 3- shots @ 300 yds
2. 3- shots @ 600 yds

I also shot groups out to 760, but it won't allow me to post them. The system indicates that pictures are to large. I'll try and figure it out.

That's a great shooter. The driver isn't to shabby either. ;D Looks like Moon builds very nice rifles.

I made the photo's smaller. Moon did an outstanding job!

1- 6- shots @ 600 yds
2- 3 shots @ 712 yds 1 shot high, adjust elev, fired 2 more.

It worked! Here is my last group @ 760 yds 1 shot hit high, adjusted elev and fired 3 more. I am really happy with the performance of this rifle!

JC, the sq target above with the paper target is one of yours that you custom cut for me, it's a 12"x12" the others are ZIA range targets. You made me several that I take out to remote locations to shot. I have hit them with the 338 Lapua and it only blackens the paint, they're great!

Glad you are liking the steel. We have a awesome group buy right now as well. Now is the time to get a couple pieces while the price is low.

After I get my 6 Creed, I will post some pics as well. SO far it sounds like you are liking it huh???

You may want to try the next node down(around 3050) it has proven to be more consistent and much better brass life. Both nodes shoot very well though.

Thanks Scott, I did just that. At 40.2 grns of H-4350 I am getting 3045 with great accuracy. 4 shots @760 yds
