Got a 243 Win in a heavy barreled Rem 700 SA. Bore getting rough and fouling more than I want to deal with.
Trying to decide between Dasher or Creedmoor and don't need to push 105 range bullets into 3000+ fps. Want to build on a 22-24" barrel for handiness and gun would be for shooting steel to 1000 and rockchucks/coyotes.
Want to stick with BDL floorplate as gun currently in nice Micky Game Hunter edge fill.
Questions:
I may or may not have feeding issues with Dasher? Input?
Creedmoor would feed nicely and interested if anyone has experience with running low node loads; say 2800-2900 fps with 105 s and what results you ve had with that? (Basically Dasher performance in better feeding case with less expense in dies, brass, etc)
Thinking a guy might find success with 38-39 grs of H4350 and thus be using only 6-7 grs more than Dasher with Varget/R15.
Really haven't been able to find low node 6 Creedmoor data and input. 95-99% of guys trying to get max out of the case.
Thx for any experiences.
