6 Creedmoor downloading to 6 Dasher

Lefty Trigger, what kind of groups and ES were you seeing in the lower nodes might I ask?

How much better was the upper node in comparison?
Thx!
I would have to dig up my data to get you ES numbers but I never could get the thing to group until speeds approached near 3000fps. I think my final load ended up right at 2990fps with Sierra 107gr match kings. The lower nodes would not stop stringing vertically.

...get you ES numbers but I never could get the thing to group...

FWIW, I have no idea what a 6CM can do as far as SD and ES. I started shooting a Dasher on the advice of very experienced and successful competitive shooter.
I told him I want to build a prone rifle which I could shoot both irons and F-Class. He said if I was limiting my competition to a max of 600 yards to go with a 6BR, beyond that build a Dasher. He was right, I’ve never shot a more consistent, accurate rifle.

As far as SD’s go, I tried a number of primers with my loads. I had a small batch of CCI SR primers amongst others, they gave me a SD of 3.12, unfortunately, it was an old batch which is gone now and current lots are much higher. My Tula 556M’s with my pet load produces a SD of just under 6.

Having the most information will help you make an informed decision.

Thanks for all the input Gentlemen. Tried to get the Dasher case to eject out of my Rem 700 SA and no dice... since I want this particular rifle to have solid repeater functionality decided to just go Creedmoor case route.

thx again
