I shot 6 BRX and use Berger 108's, Lapua BR brass.
For various reasons I have some brass that grew in length quickly and some that did not.
This has resulted in brass lengths all over the map (1.540-1.552) and my frustration sorting them in groups to keep them separated. Will the time has come to select one length and trim them to that length and be done with it. At this point I would select the shortest length and start trimming.
My concern/question is how short can I trim them without running in to bullet bearing surface issues?
I know that it is optimum to keep them long but that is not going to work.
