When to trim ? ... 26 Mar 14

I don't know about anyone else's reamers, but I have reamer print drawings from PTG for all my chambering reamers that show chamber length's, but after hearing claims that there are "tolerances" that can mean different dimensions from that shown, have measured all the chambers cut with those reamers, using the Sinclair chamber length gauges, and they are exactly as indicated.

So with your print and barrel measuements being the same as they are supposed to. You use a trim length of .005" shorter than the case length? Correct?

Once I have the reamer and barrels done I will measure and trim .010" back from there. I don't see what the issues are for being .010" shorter than the case length. Somebody explain what those are? Besides letting your cases grow too long prior to trimming again.
Thanx again
