6 BRA w/ 1:7 twis

Pretty sure I’m going to chamber my new barrel in 6BR. It’s a 1-7 twist and I’ll see what it does. I’m going to play with bullets up to the 110 SMK.

Had a 6 Dasher in a 1-7.75 twist and shot excellent.

I’m a fan of the 6BR (I know, who isn’t...right?), but I’m not a fan of forming cases. Therefore I am truly interested in seeing/reading about your experience with that twist/bullet/case combination. I hope you’ll share your experience.

Will do. My guess is will get it chambered up this week. Next is pillar bedding the stock. So won’t be up and running for a few weeks. When I get around to putting some rounds thru it I’ll let ya know.

A little late to this tread and new to the site but my 1-7.7 Bart barrel shoot hybrids very very very well. Either 30.8 or varget or 31.6. Bout to try 4895 this week

Gary, Not yet sorry! Just finished putting my sons rifle together. Still need to bed my stock. With Thanksgiving and hunting upon us it’s gonna be a couple of weeks as of yet. When I do....I’ll make a post for sure.

Thanks, I'll have a new BRA with 7tw going on line in a week, we can compare notes.
