The fella that does my FFL transfers is shooting a 6.8spc in an AR rifle. We made a deal that if i reload his spent cases he would do my transfers for free. Anyway i am not familiar with this cartridge at all. Will i need to Small Base resize his brass? His rifle is a rock river if that makes any difference. He wants to Hog hunt with this rifle so if someone could recommend a bullet and powder combo for me that will help me get started. Also is the 6.8 a small primer or large? I will have to dig up some info in the reloading manuals before i get started, but i was hoping there were some 6.8 guys around here that can steer me in the right direction. thanks Lee

Just got a Pac Nor (straight pipe) barrel in 6.8 SPC for my Savage. Should be a fun shooter. ;D
Stick with the "small rifle primer" brass.
I got SSA brass all primed and ready to go.
