6.5x47 powder recommendation for long barrel

Frustrated with my 6.5 Grendel bolt rifle I'm digging out my trusty 6.5x47 Lapua. Wanting to better my loads for it I would like a recommendation for powder choices for a 30 inch 8 twist barrel. I have 123gr and 142gr Sierra match kings also have Hornady 140gr HPBT's.

Either RL16 or H4350 always seams to work for me. Others have reported good results with varget, I haven't found the need to explore varget myself.

H100v does run cooler, but has problems as temps change.
I'm sure you won't use H4350 cause of your other problems with it. That's what I used.
RL 16 is a good alternative with the heavier bullets. Varget might be a good choice with the 123's
but runs hot.

130 CLASS BULLETS RL-15 AND H-4350 HAS DONE GREAT FOR ME I DONT SHOT HEAVYS IN MY 6.5X47

I tried a test tonight with the H100V and it runs slow in my long barrel, go figure. RL-16 has been my current load powder but it has been scarce to find. Just as luck would have it my local store got in a bunch of powder and I picked up 3 more pounds of it so I should be good for awhile now.

H-4350 is all I use in my long barrels shooting the 123’s
You can ask anyone around that I’ve shot against how well mine shoots

Varget all the way. My go to load is 37.5 grains with 130s. It has worked in so many barrels I’ve forgotten. I use CCI 450s if I’m out and can’t get them then BR4s

I run 37.5 grains of Varget or 41.5 grains of H4350 in my 6.5 x 47 Lapua. Both perform very well. This is a 26" Bartlein Heavy Palma barrel, 1:8" twist. I push 130 grain Berger VLD's exclusively. CCI450 primers.

Rock 1:8 26" .165fb here. 130 VLDs shoot great with 37.4gr varget and CCI 450 primers 2950 fps, SD 2, ES 5 for 5 shots. After that I took the Magneto speed off and called it good.

I think I messed up when I had my barrel maker short throat it. I cant ideally get the longer bullets out where they need to be and 6.5 light weight bullets are tough to find right now. I have played around with Hornady 95gr V-max's but cant get the results I'm after. A buddy gave me a handful of Speer 90gr TNT's and they shot awesome but I cant locate any, even Speer dont have em
