6.5x270wsm info needed

Looking for a winter project and kicking around the idea of pushing the 130 to 140 bullets a bit faster. Curious as to what velocities and overall thoughts on caliber.

One of my F Class buddies had a 6.5/270 WSM built two years ago. He had his own reamer cut by PT&G I believe. He has won several F(O) matches with the rifle. I will get his load details tonight and report back.

Thanks for the input. I just received 2 reamers from ptg. One was built on a dummy round setup with a 140 accubond to feed out of a badger dbm for a hunting gun and the other is a bit tighter neck and longer fb to shoot vld's.

Got my buddy`s info. Actually a JGS reamer. Broughton 30 inch 8 twist barrel. Win .270 WSM brass. Fed 215M primers. H1000 powder. 150 gr GTB VLD bullets. Chronos at 3150 fps. Dynamite at 1000 yds. He uses a 6BR for short range.
