Nice! Jon did not care much for my idea of a 2b contour. I am considering asking him to build me a new 280AI on the SR3 action. What stock did you use on your #5 contour? I am a hunting rifle guy. I would love to learn and participate in long range target shooting but flat do not have time to add another hobby. I suppose that I could use the McM Hunter stock again with a #3 Bartlein contour in a Brux, Broughton, Bartlein or similar. Krieger will not do a stainless barrel in anything below their "4.5 Contour". Essentially a #5 contour tapered to a #4 muzzle diameter. A McM Remington Hunter contour would be esthetically better for a Bartlein # 3.5 or larger. I had a Bartlein #3 in a Manners EH3 stock and was not happy with the way it fit me. I prefer a less vertical grip in my hunting rifles.

This is the new cheaper Gunwerks GRB action that they just came out with ($750 price tag!!). Its pretty much a copy of a stiller Tac 300. only difference is the dual cocking cams for the firing pin, making it super easy to open the bolt after firing pin fall. Tenon threads are 1.062"x 18tpi. .300" recoil lug. side bolt release. regular rem bottom metal and mag box. scope bases I used are the Hawkins Hybrid one piece 25moa pinned to action. this is a very nice action for the price.
I chambered this one in 264win mag match with .177" freebore which puts a 140hybrid right at the neck shoulder junction at .030" off. I used an Xcaliber SS 1-8" twist 5R #4 barrel finished at 26.5" long. this is my first Xcaliber barrel and I think it turned out nice.
Stock is a grayboe outlander dipped in Kuiu Vias camo.

Here's a 6.5 GAP 4S I just finished for a customer a few days ago. It features a left handed Stiller Tac30, Manners Eh1, Brux interrupted fluting #5 contour, round mini magnum "muscle" brake, Timney Calvin Elite, Curtis Custom bottom metal, Hawkins precision rings, and a Leupold VX-6.

6.5x47 Lapua, Manners Carbon fiber stock, Proof Carbon fiber barrel, Jewell trigger, SS Rem 700, PTG 1 piece bolt, @boltfluter recoil lug. Paul makes best recoil lug hands down.

I didn't get to weigh it. I'd say in the 11lb range. First person to see it bought it. The weight was balanced perfectly where it felt lighter because it wasn't barrel heavy. When you shouldered it, almost felt fake it was so easy to hold.That is an awesome build. Glad the lug is working for you

My newest 6.5 Creed, pretty generic.Savage 10 BA Stealth, Harris Swivel 6-9" bipod, mini Tanker brake, Bushnell ET4305 4.5-30 X 50 Scope, Burris XTR Signature Rings with 30 moa inserts. Redesigned stock for 1.25" forward cheek rest and I have a new Pachmyar 325 grind to fit pad in all black coming in, it is 1.15" thick and will move the effective position of the cheek rest by another 3/4" after I grind down the original till flat and install new pad. I also have a Steel 5 round mag coming in. After I burn up the barrel I will replace it with another 26" X-Caliber barrel identical to the one on my other build.
