So the 6.5 grendal , 6 arc = 6BR, is pretty much the same..they are both based of the 220 Russian case i believe..kind of sort of..
So my idea is pointless..
Hahahaha...i would rather waste words then money any day of the week..right..talk is cheap..hahahaha
I guess you put my topic out like a dirty old cigarette...
Dont worry ill conjure up more goofy stuff to kick around...one day...one day ill figure out something cool..isnt that what every one thinks...im a little snow flake..im special..im gonna find a breakthrough no one has thought of
What if we form brass in a different shape instead of how its been done..
The cylindrical case is out dated and old fashioned ..oh thats funny
Or how about (we shouldnt even need primers anymore..2025.).thats absolutely unnecessary, dirty.
Remington started with that Etron ignition system or what ever it was call and it disappeared
..think of all the money saving with glow plug instead of primers more computer consistency built into the gun that can be changed out like a battery..
But thats a nother topic ..and its coming..so collect your data 357 Mag
Hahaha..
we will meet again ! Good day sir. I said good day..hahaha
Bobcat -
Howdy !
Please take as info only.
“ 6 BR “ started as a wildcat based off foreshortened .308 Winchester brass.
I had one of the first “ .22BRs “ out there, and some of my original cases that I formed,
featured Large Rifle primer pockets. For me, accuracy level obtained was the same, when shooting either primer size ( “ benchrest “ ). Brass 6BR cases were produced w/ small rifle pockets, and my very first clutch of those cases My rifle with Fred Sinclair got for me, from Mike Walker…. who worked for Remington Arms.
I have no doubt you can come-up w/ a variety of new wildcats. I know of a benchrest shooter that was absolutely convinced he needed just .2gr more of H-4198, beyond what his “.30 Miller “ cases could hold. Last I heard, he was going to wildcat specifically for him to be able to add and shoot loads that included that last additional .2gr of
H-4198.
I like to design case form, and shoot new wildcats; that are taylored to meet my specific shooting needs.
In case I did not send it before, here’s a pic of my “ .358AutoMag wildcat.
This is a pretty short case, which I formed off 6BR or 7BR brass. That spared me the effort of having to form my short .358” cal wildcat cases directly from full length .308Win
brass.
* if you get a chance, look this site up on the internet…..
