6.5 saum with 107 tmk

H100v is your friend...

If I take my 6.5, I just roll wit a 130VLD @ 3205 that pummels everything it hits.
A 107 @ 3600 will only improve MPBR from ~330 to 340yds, so not enough to bother with a developing a new load...

Parameters for comparison are a 250yd working zero, and +/- 5" bullet drop. YMMV...

But, the advantage is there for a 107, and you'll suffer less recoil, which is always a +++

Good luck!

I’m looking at using it for coyote and the minimal recoil will help get back on target with running coyotes. Most of our coyote hunting doesn’t involve having time for rangeing and twisting dials. I’m pretty interested to see the velocity I can come up with. This weekend I’m going to try some loads. That 107 has a pretty good bc. If anyone has loaded any light bullets, I’d appreciate the powders they had good luck with. I’ll check out the 100v. Thanks

Well, figure anything out? I’m wanting to do the same thing with the new 105gr Blitzking

A friend of mine has a few hundred 85gr sierra bullets left that are now discontinued. In his 6.5 prc he has them running just over 4,000fps. Hes just waiting to take it coyote hunting. I can imagine its going to cause some damage.
