H1000 Reloader 26 Retumbo all good powders.
I have a 1x8.5 and 1x8. Both like H1000 and Retumbo. Start at 58 grains and work up. I found pressure at 60.8 with both. Good luck.

Need to know freebore on your reamer also.

First reamers used were 0.081. Switched later to 0.120 freebore and I think 0.145 for the heavy bullets. I bought a throater and have my smith change mine from 0.081 to 0.120 to shoot the 140 gr JLK bullets.
