6.5 PRC magazine help

I'm wanting to do a 6.5 PRC in a long action 700. What follower and mag box do I need. Will I have to block the magazine in the rear?

Butch Wyatts makes a 6.5 prc box and follower. I believe the box is just over 3.0 long. personally, I prefer to use Hawkins hunter mags for that set up. They sell spacer kit For there mag to fit the smaller 6.5

Butch, On long actions the standard magnum mag box and follower have worked well with no modifications or spacers needed. I’ve fit saum and prc based cartridges in them.

Same for me, 300 wm magazine in a LA. No problem.

It has a nice wood stock, so I will try as Relic recommends. It is a hunting rifle.
