6.5 Lapua reamer question

Looking to shoot 140 Berger Hybrids out of a magazine so OAL will be 2.85 maybe 2.86 but i will probably want bit more bullet in the neck.

I was looking on PTG website and they have a 6.5 lapua reamer called Rogue Bore rider.
It has a 37 degree shoulder angle .2944 neck and .179 freebore and I think some sort of two step leade.
Can some one here tell me about reamer?
Also one of the reamer options is "resizer" and I have been told that it is used for making sizing dies.
Any one know if that is FL die? What does it do with the neck?

Thanks guys.

I have seen result of the accuracy that this reamer produces on FB. It looks pretty promising.

Never mind, I called PTG and Dave Kiff spent a bunch of time answering my questions.
For the amount of stupid questions I asked he was very patient.

Please share what you learned with the rest of us. Im currently trying to figure out the correct reamer to use on an upcoming build.

Tim Claunch did my 6.5Lapua and all the 123,130 and 140 gr bullets fit AI mags with the bullet seated just above the NSJ and will reach the lands,,I would have to ask him what the freebore is,,,seems like about .168 but that probably aint right,,

it is a very flexible mag fed round,,,as the 95 VMax and 100 ,120 gr Nosler Balistic Tips work very well also,,

IMO it is a better round than the 6.5 Creedmoor only at about 75 fps slower

I have seen first hand that the difference in the creed and lapua rounds is no different than a low or a high node. I’ve got a pretty fast barrel on my Lapua. It’s 22” and clocks exactly the same as my friend’s 24” creed. Luck, I know. But I agree it’s still a better case.

I have a .170 freebore, perfect even in a standard mag box.

I'd wouldn't try to Jazz up a 6.5x47. Its so easy to get accurate loads for. Just get a regular old no turn reamer with .160 or so freebore and your set. You'll have plenty of options for dies that way.
