swampers, never tried it with a creed but I have had a 243 and 22-250, and now I have a 260 and a 284 on long actions, the first two was because it was hard to find lefty short actions, the second two are because I can extend the throat and seat long. so with these cartridges I think the shoulder angles were 20 to 35 degrees and feeding hasn't been a problem. I think you will just want to find a mag that will handle the 30-06 and you'll be fine. btw, don't know about seating the 308 win long but I bet somebody does.
good luck

HS precision bottom metal. Buy 6.5x284 magazine with spacer. works flawless. I have done two 6.5 saums this way and allows you to throat long for max powder loadsI know it would be alot better in a s/a but this man wants to use a L/A .I have a .308 bolt for it just wondering if it would have any feeding issues. He is wanting a dbm. Do they make a clip that will feed a creedmore in a long action.
