6c5 creedmoor on a long action savage?

hey guys just wondering if this can be done and still reliably feed through my DBM the gun is a savage model 111 long action (.270win) I have a choate tactical stock that has been bedded and also inletted for my DBM ...I may also go the cdi bottom metal at some point if I can get a say 308 mag that may solve the problem?

basically ive been looking at the 6.5 creedmoor , 6.5x55 and starting a bit of interst towards the .260rem I want a low recoil target only rifle I have other rifles for hunting but id still like to use my mag instead of single feed, just looking for my options and if anyone has done this with a long action and a dbm..

im stuck on the build because I don't know which caliber I don't want 7 mm and also don't want a barrel burner like the 6.5/284

I do not reload yet so that plays a role in all of this I will be but have a lot to learn on that as well so im looking for which brass to get bullets etc I see the 140 gr amax and berger vlds are what most use what about for brass?
