Frank, you will be glad to know that I ordered a Bartlein barrel! A vendor had one in stock so it is on the way.
This will be my first Bartlein barrel and I am sure that it will be great.
Now for a stock, scope, brass, dies, and bullets. At least I have primers and powder.
Let me clarify. 6 lbs or less for the barrel alone after cutting the chamber and probably limiting to length to 24 inches. Yes, I know that the completed rifle will be on the heavy side, but I am not walking far.

Bartlien 2B is perfect but still tough to get 6 to 6.5#. Sedero is way too heavy. My new rifle is a borden, alpine, bartlien 2b, mcmillen edge htg chambered by English in 6.5 creedmoor.
