I’ve got 85’s stable in 20”, 1:8 TR
Sierra 3100 FPS, Hammer 3360 FPS. 97gr AH also stable 3485 FPS.

I have found that light bullets stabilize very well in my 6.5 prc with 1-7.5 barrel. Using 107 smks and RL 17 I get 0.35" groups at 100yds. Velocity is 3300. This is a mild low recoil load. Other extreme is a 85 gr Hammer load at 3681 using RL 17.

I just picked up some of these to try in my savage 110 pcs it’s a 10.5” barrel, but by the time it’s all said and done it’s about 8” of useable barrel. I tried some 120 ballistic tips with a stout load of ramshot hunter and a 450 and was getting 2350fps. Trying to get up around 2700 if possible. Looks like varget may be the go to but gonna be a ton of unburnt powder. Would like to try a faster powder but not sure what to go with.

Entirely aware, but unless you run or shotgun powder pistol powder you’re still going to wasting powder in a 10.5” barrel. And we all know that isn’t going to work. Lol

I shoot H110 in my 338 federal..... 160 ttsx... integral suppressed hunting rifle. 20'' over all length with a 12'' barrel in it. 100% burn, 2460 fps, sub 1/2 Moa.
