1 in 9.125' twist

Will the original 1 in 9.125' twist bbl. on Rem 700 Sporter,,built in 1970), chambered in .243 Win, stabilize Hornady 105 A-MAX pills ?

I have a savage 1 in 9.25 and it loves 105 amaxes. Averages in the .2 to .3s @100 5 shots.

I have an A series Remington Varmint and use the following.
RP brass
210m primer
42.5 H4350
105AMAX
It averages 3015 fps and shoots pretty good all the way to 1000.

I am just wondering, is your gun 243 AI, or regular. The load seem a bit stiff to me. The Hodgdon Data center's max load is 37.5 grns of H4350.

I am going to load some H4831sc, and some H4350, with Lapua brass, Fed210GMM, and the 105 Amax, and see if the 1 in 9.125' will punch nice round holes in the paper. Thanks for all the responses!
