It always easy to risk things when your not the one that’s going to pay the price for being wrong. The OP can do as he chooses but I hope he doesn’t pay the price for his actions. A gun or parts are cheap when compared to a hospital trip.
I guess you can't look at the signs and see for yourself. IF he had galling bolt lugs from opening the bolt to extract, he would Have Had galling on the lugs, the bluing isn't even rubbed off ! If you just look at the pics of the bolt lugs you would see that. The brass took the beating. Really man? You think the design of cartridge cases weren't factored in BEYOND the cartridge pressure design?

Proof loads are basically 1.5 X SAAMI max. So around 90K for 6.5 Creedmoor, closer to 95K for things like 6MM Rem. or other magnums.

I believe the new 6.8 for the military operates in the low 80's

Not trying to down play anything, only add perspective.

Anyone know what it takes to crack an M4 barrel extension and weld the brass case to the chamber?

You do you man, but here we err on the side of caution. Stop telling this guy itll be alright when you have no clue if it will or not. All you will feel is whatever temp your house is when it blows.

By the way, having been the guy examining a lot of these blown actions for years, when this happens the lugs dont even touch as the action swells so thats not a sign.

Galling is not an indication that the receiver is cracked. You can gall your lugs simply by running them dry in many actions.

What does that mean? The case is not structural? There was very little soot on the case... minimal blow by. If the case didn’t fail, what does that tell you? It tells me the barrel/ receiver wasn’t effected. The case took the brunt of the pressure.
The pressure held by a case is like a plug. Structurally the head of the case is keeping pressure from blowing back on the bolt and you. But the walls of the case do not take the load that makes the combustion pressure want to burst outward up/down/left right. The chamber does that.

Let’s say the pressure in the case hits 100,000 psi. The walls of the case cannot handle any of that - they go into contact with the chamber walls at a low pressure and from that pressure on up, the chamber steel is supporting that pressure. The walls of the case are along for the ride. The receiver covers over the barrel tenon, so when the chamber forces the entire end of the barrel and tenon to expand it also puts high stress on the receiver threads.
