6.5 calibre cleaning patches

I have a boretech rod and proof-positive cleaning jag for my 6.5x47 and I was wondering what brand and size patches work best with this set up.

Boretech 1 4/8" round works well. The 2" is a little tight. Both with a 6mm jag. I'll try the 1 3/4" since the 1 4/8" could stand to be a tighter fit.

Yes, I know 4/8 is 1/2. I started using those after a girl I worked with told us her boyfriend was 5' 11" or 5' 12" she couldn't remember.

Hahaha, I used to tell people that asked I am 4' 23" tall...some really confused and some looks of "I'm not amused"...oh well, I was amused:D

These patch discussions make me chuckle a little. This year for the first time in many years I bought a package of name brand, store bought patches. I figured they must be better than the ones I cut out of Walmart bulk flannel. When I tried to apply solvent to them, it beaded up and ran off like water off a duck's back. Went back to my flannel. I can cut them whatever size I need to for my 22, 243, 257, 264, 270, and 30 caliber barrels. Works good for me and cuts down on inventory. Just a thought.

What brand of jag are you using with these patches ?
I have the bore tech jag on order so I am using another brand of jag with these patches at the moment but I feel the fit is a little loose.
Every manufacturer's jags seem to be a different size and that's why I am looking for a patch that gives the best fit with the bore tech one.

Tipton nickel plated, except for .17 caliber which is too tight for the triangle patches, I use Montana.
