6.5 130 VLD vrs 130 AR Hybird

my 6.5x47 shoots the 130 VLD loaded to 2.840 with max load H4350 and feeds from AI 5-10 round 308 mags flawlessly,,is there any reason to try the AR Hybird in the AI mag or are the AR10 mags shorter and the Hybirds made to work in those?

Here's my $.02. I've done a lot of reading on the new 130 AR, and even got to speak with Brian Litz about them. I am running a mag fed 260 bolt gun for PRS, and would LOVE to shoot the 140 hybrids, but can't get them to load at mag length. I was going to rebarrel it to a 6.5x47L over the winter so I could shoot them, then along came the 130 AR. It will allow me (with a 260) to avoid the donut, keep the COAL under 2.95" (mag max), and have the benefit of a high-for-weight BC. For you, the extra BC (.282 for VLD vs .290 for AR) and seating depth tolerance would be the only reason to look at the AR (IMHO). Loading to mag length is not a problem for you.

They are supposed to hit shelves in July, and a few sites are taking pre-orders. I imagine they will go quick once they are out.
