The rifle I referred to was bought from an online auction, sold as a 6mm. International but came with dies clearly re-stamped 6-250 and were obviously made from 22-250 dies with the neck opened up to 6 mil., poorly I might add. The dies definitely didn't work for that chamber. I suggested casting the chamber couldn't convince the owner of that, he's "gonna make it work" cause he's been reloading for 30 years.
I just said OK, let me know how you make out with that ,haven't heard since.

I stopped in on Saturday to put some money down on it and took a 22-250 case with me. It would not chamber, it got almost there, but I couldn't close the bolt. The price is good enough for me even with replacing the barrel and needing the bolt bushed. I have a remage barrel on the shelf that has some life still, and my buddy has a 6mm wildcat reamer and brass he mentioned running into this barrel if its usable, so I have some options.
