Thanks again. Charlotte likes fast cars. She raced a 1964 Corvette when we lived in Alaska. She keeps a strong hand on the Sons, Grandkids and our 9 year old great Grand Daughter. All she has to say is look at my eyes or get you patience out of you pocket.

My rifle addiction does not allow me to have other expensive, time consuming hobbies such as marriage. I guess it's great for some. No wife, no kids, no dogs, no excuses!

I see many parallels between marriage and shooting... it is simultaneously hard and incredibly rewarding, takes a lot of patience to succeed, and often the results are not as expected nor predictable... but I wouldn’t change anything!

Butch, I see by your profile you were born Oct 31, 1900 which makes you 117 years old and means you were 60 when you got married. Why did you wait so long to get hitched?

With everyone bailing today I send many congrats for keeping a good marriage going. You are a lucky man Butch. Tell your wife Congrats from me. Marriage can be wonderful if you work at it. My wife still cant say why she left,I think it was boredom which tried hard to keep it fun. Now I have a girlfriend who is so loyal that we will be together for ever.

You and I have about the same life style. She built me a barn with shop and car storage downstairs and big reloading area upstairs. But no bathroom so trips to the house for that. Eat breakfast, come out here, eat lunch and nap, back out here, supper and watch movie before bed. Life is good.
She shot both rifle and pistol silhouettes. Now we shoot a 22 BR and Varmint For Score together. We might venture into other “fun” shoots someday.
