I was shooting my 22-250 at our range the other day at a 500 yd steel target. Got the scope dialed in with the 55gr zmax bullets w/cannelure and then switched to some rounds that I had loaded with 55gr vmax bullets.
I figured that the BC of the zmax would be a bit less than the vmax, because of the cannelure (just looked them up, BC same for both).
Suprised me that the vmax bullets impacted lower than the zmax bullets, by about 3".
What would have caused that? Was it the cannelure causing the difference, because of different airflow?
thanks
