55 gr. FB Berger Target bullets in 223

Does anyone here have any experience reloading with these bullets for a 223? I have a Factory rifle that I would like to try these in for shorter range work. Seating depth/sensitivity? Powder-primer combos? The rifle is a 1 in 8” Tikka that I would like to work a load up for informal club shoots at 100-200 yards. Thank you in advance

I use them in my .222, 1:12 barrel, along with N133 propellant. I get superb accuracy from them as in single hole groups at100 & less than 3" at 500.

I use them in my match AR15 and my 223 midrange Remington 700. Both barrels are 1:8. My go to load is 23.7 8208 in LC, Norma or Lapua cases with BR-4. Groups between .375 and .5

I tested a new Shilen .223 barrel with the Berger 55 FB bullets a couple of times at the range shooting 5 shot groups at 100 yards. I ended up getting my 6BR barrel right after the Shilen barrel and switched to testing the 6BR so I haven't had to much time with the .223 and Berger 55 FBs. It did shoot well though. I used AR Comp, 205M primers, and a 0.005 jump.

55gr Berger FBs shot real well in my Rem 700 VS. 23.5 gr n133, Fed 205m primer. Lapua brass. I seated them .002 off.
