53g V Max -- stabilize in 1/14 twist 22-250?

I have been invited to go to Hungary next Sept to do this. It looks like my hit to shot ratio is going to be bad. I can't think that fast never mind shoot that fast. And I'm talking the first one not all the follow up shots he does. That large caliber rifle probably makes up for some marginable hits although he is so good the holes are probably right thru the head. I should get a spead bead and roll some barrels down hill for practice. Looks like a real bunch of fun though.
heads up-posted in wrong subject.

Shot the 53g V max in Sako 22-250 1/14 twist.

New (used) rifle for me. Stoeger importer era Sako.
53g did not stabilize, keyholed a bit.

2 photos :

5 targets : 22-250

2 targets : 22BR 1/12 twist

anyone have any thoughts on the 22 BR 53g V Max groups, 1+2 shots touching, 1 shot 1 " lower, same position with 2 loads. 2 stabilized, 1 marginally stabilized...?

both rifles shot very good groups with other go-to loads.

thx-

You might get it to work in the mountains or on the high plains. Altitude matters more than 200 fps more velocity for this bullet and rate of twist.

understood. these were shot at 330 ft ASL. The berger 52's shoot very well in this rifle. prob test the 53gs in a 1/12 twist .223.

Had to try this for myself. I shoot a Remington Varmint 22-250 14 tw.
My go to bullet is the 53 gr. Sierra HP, shoots .5 moa.
Tried the 53 gr. Vmax , will not shoot in my 14 tw.
4-5" group and slight keyholes
