53/55 vmax @3800

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with 53 or 55 grain vmaxes in a 9 twist at about 3800 fps. I was wondering if this is too fast of a twist and if there is issues with them coming apart?

Fire away with the 53s. I shoot them out of a 1:9 .22-.250 AI at 3,900+ and they perform very well. I have never had one come apart.

Awesome! Thanks. Glad to hear they can handle it.

I have a model 7 with the mag bolt face and a 224 barrel with a 9 twist that I don't know what I want to do with for sure yet. I was thinking maybe a coyote rifle in 223 wssm.
