50's Benchrest rifle

A friend has his dad's 219 wasp that was built in the 50's. a true benchrest rifle of that time era. He needs to sell, but doesn't know what to ask. Thxs DG

As has already been said, some details would be helpful. Most of these rifles don't go for much as their value is mostly nostalgia or possibly varmint hunting. The value will probably be in the action, trigger, scope valued separately. I have bought several vintage benchrest rifles in the past few years for $400-700. Some can be competitive in local club matches. The 219 falls in the nostalgia category. It's fun, but won't compete with today's offerings.
