HS Precision in .222 Cal. Can give a value for the gun?

I have a friend that wants to sell his dad's HS Precision .222 Remington rifle. Looks to have the Sako ejector, nice trigger, etc. Can anyone give me a value? I can not find a used one anywhere.

Not stainless. Don't know round count, dad is dead. Barrel is 22" long.

I'd start at a grand and be willing to take $7-800 if it's in nice shape...maybe less...just my guess.

Should be stainless HS uses 416R and cut rifles. Also depends on the action, years ago some were built on 700' s which would be worth less.

If you can buy a 3,500.00 rifle for 7or 800 w/o
wearing a mask, go for it, but unless its a dog,
its not likely to happen. LDS

In reality it is a used rifle in a chambering that is not popular. Still a great chambering but the reality is not many shoot it today. So it’s basically a used custom target or varmint rifle. I’d ask $1500 for the quality of the build if it was near new. And maybe accept $1250. If it has dings and scratches reduce accordingly, day $100 for every 10% reduction in condition.
