5.6X57 Anchutz=Savage

Just got a beautiful Savage=Anchutz 5.6X57, looks like a standard Savage model 10 action (albeit with a much finer finish) and Anchtuz barrel and furniture. Has a double-set trigger. While I understand that RWS makes ammo for this caliber I have been unable to find any in stock. Anybody here have any experience with this caliber. Hornady makes dies for about $100.00.
Can I use these F/L dies to form some other caliber (perhaps 270 Win) to 5.6X57? I see some firms make this caliber to order from the 270 Win. Should there be an intermediate step in F/L sizing from .277 to .224? Anybody have any loading data for this caliber using 70 grain .224 bullets? (I have Speer in stock) Anybody out there have some unneeded RWS brass on hand they would be willing to sell? Appreciate any help or direction to get this old (well, not so old compared to some others in my collection) gun shooting?

I have read online that the 5.6X57 is indeed an offshoot of the 7X57 cartridge but there is an issue with the making of the brass from 7X57 brass, specifically the neck thickness. It is suggested to use 270 Win brass to achieve the correct neck thickness for the chamber.
Not sure if I have the Hornady 3rd edition, my reloading manuals (and other equipment/supplies) is separated between my place in North Central Pa and my farm in Eastern Tn. Am in Tn. currently for the winter, so may or may not have the appropriate manual here. I have many manuals but only one manual lives at each place, that is the latest Lyman manual.
