Remington Arms

RemArms, LLC. is a newly formed entity that acquired the Remington firearms division from Remington Outdoors Company. We are working diligently to obtain all necessary regulatory licenses and become operational. RemArms will be producing Remington branded firearms soon at the historic Ilion, NY facility where Remington has been produced for more than 200 years. We expect to have our website, www.remarms.com. online very soon and production of legacy Remington firearms is on track to begin in early 2021.

Due to the nature of the acquisition, RemArms LLC. is unable to service existing Remington firearms or honor any warranty offered by the Remington Outdoors Company. As a show of our commitment to the Remington brand and its customers, once we become fully operational, we will do what we can to assist in resolving issues you may have with Remington product purchased through the Remington Outdoors Company.

We hope you appreciate the constraints that limit our ability to take care of firearms or other products made prior to the RemArms LLC acquisition of Remington firearms from the Remington Outdoors Company. In the future we will service product produced by RemArms, utilizing the highest standards available.

Big Horn Armory
No Implied warranty on web site.
Ruger now has a 45-70 as of a couple months ago and big horn armory stands behind their stuff 110%. They may not imply a warranty for legal reasons or to not have to listen to any bitching and demands, but they are among the best

Dusty,
Ruger doesn’t imply a warranty but they sure do (in writing) state their guns do not have a warranty. I understand posturing for legal reasons but specifying “no warranty” with a new gun is a turn off. Whether or not Ruger actually takes care of their customers, having a no warranty policy leaves repairs to Ruger’s discretion - or to the current mood of the customer service rep. I know 4 people who bought new Ruger guns which were undeniably defective and Ruger told them to pound sand.

That kind of odd in that all I’ve ever heard about Ruger is they will fix whatever is not right with one of their firearms no matter the age. A good friend had a Super Blackhawk where the cylinder blew up, and it bent the top strap. Ruger replaced the whole gun for $150, no questions asked.

What in the world did your friend shoot to blow up a Super Blackhawk?

How'd it even fit in the chamber? Isn't the Casull longer?
Im not even sure. I know the guy has a redhawk 454 and is a cowboy action shooter. Reloads for neither. There was 454 ammo in the other side of the locked up cyl. I try to not evaluate too much on these things

To my knowledge, a Long Colt shouldn't chamber a Casull. I wonder if Ruger didn't feel partially responsible for it being allowed to happen.

I had a buddy that shot a 454 in a vaquero. Ruger replaced no questions asked with free return shipping View attachment 1316389
Your buddy must had to pound the 454 cartridge into the cylinders chamber as the 454 Casull is .10” longer case then a 45 LC. I guess if there’s will, there’s a way. Then again I saw the aftermath of a guy who somehow managed to close the bolt on a 280 Rem. in a Rem. 700 chambered in 270 Win.. The rifle self disassembled, and the shooter was taken away in a ambulance. The guy was a mess. Lots of blood. Lucky for the shooter that range safety officer was a former Army medic.

Surplus H110 with a SSK 300 gr hard cast bullet. It couldn’t had been a double charge or a powder bridge from his Dillon 550 as H110 meters like water, plus the power charge in cartridge case and the long bullet wouldn’t been able to fully seat the bullet. The barrel wasn’t bulged so it wasn’t a squib shot before as he would had realized the lack of recoil.

Funny thing is a picture of the blown up Ruger was at the cash register of the state gun range concession that I looked almost every time I paid to shoot. Some years latter I met him and became good friends with he and his Dad.
