Remington Arms ?

Anybody know what’s going with Remington Arms ? I tried yesterday to look for their website and all I could find was one page that shown one type of each, a 700, 783, and a 870, but with no information on any of them or about the new ownership. I did find the Remington brand ammo website which was fully operational, and I know that brand is owned by Vista Outdoors.

Brother I am not being sarcastic. The bankruptcy and divestment of Remington has been a center stage issue among the shooting community for quite some time. Have you read about it?

Yes I’ve read a lot about it, but a few months back Remington Arms was supposedly calling laid off workers back. What I heard was the big hold up was the union agreements which were the wrench in the gears and other previous contractual obligations to the workers. Also. I’m sure if Remington Arms is still embroiled with the Bushmaster liability lawsuit, plus in the State of NY, the fascist governor Como signed a law allowing firearms manufactures to be sued by any individual or group, and including the State of NY, even though there is a specific Federal law that protects firearms manufactures from being liable for the malicious acts of individuals who use a firearm in a crime. Fir all I know is Remington Arms mite be looking to move to another state.

You mean this site https://www.remarms.com/ ?

Seems similar to Savage's. It doesn't have anything about the recent sale, but their Marketing group might not want to have people focus on that.
