42 future hunters today

Well the first class of Firearm Safety Classes of 2025 is running today. 42 young kids are starting their official hunting/shooting lives today.
This marks 30 years for me teaching. I really enjoy this.

Thought you might enjoy an old pic of my father and his Hunting Club members. They met after classes on the High School front steps. The kids brought their guns to school, back then. He was a math teacher, baseball coach, golf coach, business coach and The Young Republicans advisor. Maybe a couple more clubs I’ve forgotten. He was energetic.

I start my 33 year with my April class. Have had the honor & pleasure of the same partner the entire time. Son joined in about 10 years later so he's coming up on his 25th year. Very proud of him! Letting him take over the class more & more while I get to "supervise & observe" from the rear.
