41st Annual Groundhog Match

4/1/2023
Alright guys and gals it's on. It's my and Chads first go round running it. I hope it goes smooth. Working on the prize table and already have some neat stuff in. You can shoot multiple rifles this year, however you have to draw for for lane and relay. Here are the rules this year.

Hey Reb. Y'all going to have the "jumper" running again this year? Good times...

Folks, it there's any possible way for you to make it to this shoot, you need to be there! The chance at some awesome prizes, great people, and overall awesome day.

Will you allow multiple shooters on same gun like in years past? The drawing for relay will weed out some of that advantage.
I think the drawing will eliminate that completely. So yes. The rifle will also have to be removed once the relay is completed even if by some chance two folks get back to back. The next shooter has to carry it in and set it up.

Coming up bump.

Also, curious if you guys would/will allow shooter to bring spotting scope with them to the line during match or limited to just rifle and rests only? Likely just more hassle to carry/set up but guy that has 15x scope on his rifle may want it next to guy has 55x on top his. Never seen it, but I was asked...

Looking forward to it.

It's in the books. Damn challenging conditions, torrential rain, winds up to 30 mph and switchy. Ain't nobody got nothing on the NC foothills in the spring in April. As I said, it was an absolute honor to be able to host, put on and sponsor this match for y'all. Hope it was fun. Hope the prizes were cool. If you have any complaints about how it was called, the deserts or food, complain to the owner of Bulls Eye Sporting Goods :) I'd love to hear from you. Now I'm going to lay back on my icepack and swallow some more liquid painkiller. Put up is a bitch, tear down just sucks in the mud.
