39th Annual Hickory groundhog shoot

Alright guys and gals, getting phone calls already about this years rule changes.
Will post verbatim Larry's rules but to nutshell it -
One man , one gun. That's simple enough. If you have a kid under 13, they can shoot your gun.
Entry fee - $35
Practice time- you get 30 minutes, all week. I know this is tough for guys far away but hey, we are solving several problems here. One of which is this should simulate real groundhog hunting.
When you sign up, your name and relay are pulled out of the hat. No more one guy signing up 20 folks,in the relay of their choice.
As said I will post the exact rules next week but I figured these were the ones you wondered about most.
As always, it will be fun and a great day.

Larry's rules -
Very limited sight in time (30 min.) per person allowed the week before the match.

You and Your gun can only be entered one time for the Groundhog and Egg shoot.

Registration starts Friday 2-3 pm before the match.

First 8 relays will be drawn for.

All other entries will be assigned by order of registration.

Handicap position will be in position L. These will be drawn in the first 8 relays or assigned.

Youth 13 and under may use any gun ( shot in match or not ) in the match itself.

Match fee will be $35. Youth 13 and under will be $15.

Range will be around 100,300 and 500 yards - not necessarily in that order.

All scoring and match rules will apply.

I Understand if many of you that drive a ways may have questions These are the rules straight from Larry. It's an effort to make the match more fair and more about hunting accuracy rather than a BR competition, which was the original intent 39 years ago.
You can call me at the shop, depending on how busy I am with customers will depend on how long I can stay on the phone at any given time, I welcome your questions and hope to see you there!

....And so the thunder of rifles began yesterday along the Jacob's Fork river. Practice time!!!!! Mirage sucked and had some headwind.
