As you probably know, the 40X stock is cut on the butt, with an angle forward. I wish to install a 3-way adjustable butt. I am pretty sure, I should cut the butt of the stock square, otherwise the hole for the 3-way will be drilled at an upward angel, and the angle will be even more prominent. What do you think? Wanting to use it for F-TR (.223 prone). Will be out of town for a few days, Thanks in advance for any input.
