3mm steel shot mixed in with Berger Bullets?

Those are bogon attractors, for barrel break-in.
The bogon attractor will suck all the bogons out of the barrel, then you're good to go. All the BR guys are doing this now, I hear.

Can you use the attractor more than once? How many bogons are sucked to the attractor at a time? If you increase the angle of the barrel, will the attractor go too fast, come out too early, and cause the bogons to fall off? Can too many bogons really cause blindness?

The attractor can be reused after wet tumbling and resizing. It's key that the sizing die be properly calibrated; I find that using the scruples of a politician or the moral compass of a snowflake as a gauge can get you in the ballpark, though it can be tough sourcing enough of them. Word has it that the Tunguska event was brought about by a Russian shooter, whose last words were reported to be 'hey, Mikhail, is this angle thing really that important?'. Just sayin'.

Those are bogon attractors, for barrel break-in. A lot of people are practically religious about removing copper during barrel break-in procedures, but almost no one remove bogons, which typically results in a ruined barrel. Berger is aware of these, and so they package some bogon attractors in the boxes, for those in the know.

What you want to do is shoot one, then clean the barrel for about 20 minutes. Once the patch is coming out clean when viewed under a 300X microscope, you carefully roll one (note, JUST ONE; this is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL) bogon attractor down it, breach to muzzle, at a precise angle of 16.52 degrees.

The bogon attractor will suck all the bogons out of the barrel, then you're good to go. All the BR guys are doing this now, I hear.
And fguffey told me that these don't have headspace either

I cant wait to get home and plant my berger seeds. This is gonna save me a fortune!

Just don't buffer the seed area with the Berry's pistol bullets of 2010. Then you couldn't hit cardboard standing in a shipping carton...No matter how much you watered them.....Bad ju ju.

Cripes, you guys got me doing the Cracker Jack search. Now I'm going through my boxes of Bergers to find the prize balls. All I've gotten so far are ammo box labels. What a rip.
