358 Win Barrel Thread ?

Clamp on brakes and suppressors must deal with the very real liklihood of bore inconcentricity. They do this by making the exit hole larger than is necessary, sacrificing efficiency. I don't think this is even debatable but certainly, by how much..is.

So, can a clamp on brake or suppressor work? Of course it can! Is it the best..Well, almost certainly, those are not.
While I haven't purchased my setup yet, I think this should be understood by all interested. The tolerance stacks are not in your favor when using the barrel OD, and the obvious tradeoff is a loss of performance.

Mine is going on a 308, which I have shot 1000s of rounds of 308 without a brake. This is not due to high recoil forces, I want to spot shots, and it's either add 10 to 15 pounds to the gun or get a brake. If it is even 50% as effective as the MBM on my 338 Edge, I'll be happy.
