I like the idea, that's why I ask about the 35 BR to see if anyone had done it.
The .358 Hoosier with a 1.8" case length is close.

I hate 12 gage slugs, lots of recoil, and the rifle lets me shoot 0-300.

What load are you getting 300 out of? What is the MV?

Goggle .358 Hoosier, you will find 180 gr. loads at 2600, and 200 gr. loads at 2525.

I have 80, 308 cases that I have shortened to 1.8" and necked up to .358.
