357 Maximum data vs 350 Legend data

In an effort to get the most out of my Winchester bolt action rifle ( 350 Legend ) for hunting, I am using the 140 grain bullet from Bear Creek. After testing several powders, my highest velocities are with H110. I am using Starline brass with CCI 450 primers. This combination is producing sub MOA groups at velocities above 2600 fps ( Labradar ) with no signs of excessive pressure. After looking at several bullets from my dirt backstop, I think this combination will be a huge improvement over the factory ammo I have tested.

Sorry if I am a little off topic.... I haven't been able to find much load data to improve the hunting performance of the 350L.

What kind of groups are you getting with the BC 140s? I was tossing around ordering some.

What load of H110? What other powders have you used? I ordered some 140s today and plan to use h110, imr4227, and AA no9 to test.

My best group was with 28 grains ( 2651 fps ) with 3 shots at .770
I tried 4227 with good accuracy but could not get the velocity I wanted.
Please work up to this load and don't use it as a starting point.

I’ve been a Contender shooter for 35 years so I have a 357 Max barrel. It was a surprise to see the muzzle velocity difference with the same powder charge. Probably due to less bearing surface on the Hornady 180 SSP bullet
