350 Rem Mag from 7mm Rem Mag w/range report

I've made 350 Rem Mag brass out of almost all the belted cases from all mfgs over the years, always had to turn the case necks, can't remember a single brand of brass no matter the cartridge, all had to be turned, some more than others .. now I only use Lapua & Peterson brass, ADG is good too but I have a limited supply and it's designated for one of my 300 Win Mags that loves the stuff ..

Depending on the brand of brass, how does the internal volume of the cases made from a longer belted magnum cases compare to a factory 350 Mag case. I assume it to be less, but how much?

I have a 350 Remington Mag story from close to 60 years ago.
I had just got out of the Army, (not even 21 yet), and a couple of friends wanted to go deer hunting. I did not have a “deer rifle”.
I went to Richard’s Pawn Shop and they had a Remington 600 in 350 mag, with a box of Remington CorLocs, 250 grain. It had a vented rib on the barrel. I doubt the entire rifle and scope weight much over 6 pounds.
It had a cheap scope on it. I took it to the old Lake Houston Gun Club, who was open till 10:00 PM the week End before opening day, to sight it in.
That darned thing felt like a light 12 guage shotgun with turkey loads. I did not shoot a deer that season, and sold it soon after.
I kinda wish I would have kept it.

Swamplord, great info and the pics are superb.

The light 158gr JHP load over 800x and a tuft of dacron shot great, right at 1 1/8 at 100 yards. Nearly the same point of aim as the fullpower 200gr RN. Next trip I'll try with and without the dacron.
