I just ordered the TAC 338 action from Stiller. They said the next batch will be done in 3-4 months, if you want to reserve one you might want to do it soon, there is no finacial obligation untill the action is done. I ordered a TAC 338 action 3 months ago. I spoke with the very nice people at stiller 2 weeks or so ago and they said they have some actions almost finished but have not received the bolts yet.

Just go buy the Savage FCP. It will shot under 1/2 moa out to 1200 yards for 1500.00.

Now, 6" groups at 1,200 yards from a factory rifle? Is today April 1st or something?

I would love to see a 6" group at 1200 yards by ANY shooter, with ANY rifle in ANY caliber under ANY conditions. Not saying it can't be done, just that I'd be extremely impressed if you can do it with your Savage.

Look at MT Guns for a Barnard action they have a few choices in 338 mag
