They said the next batch will be done in 3-4 months, if you want to reserve one you might want to do it soon, there is no finacial obligation untill the action is done. I ordered a TAC 338 action 3 months ago. I spoke with the very nice people at stiller 2 weeks or so ago and they said they have some actions almost finished but have not received the bolts yet.

Just go buy the Savage FCP. It will shot under 1/2 moa out to 1200 yards for 1500.00.

I would love to see a 6" group at 1200 yards by ANY shooter, with ANY rifle in ANY caliber under ANY conditions. Not saying it can't be done, just that I'd be extremely impressed if you can do it with your Savage.

I'm kinda in the same boat. My proof 338 blank finally showed up and now I need to decide on an action. Is there any reason not to go with a Kelbly Atlas .338? I don't see much about them compared ot always hearing about the Stiller Tac 338's. I know Kelbly has a pretty strong rep in the BR world but would love any feedback on the Atlas. And apologies for the threadjack

You have to have a 6.5 Creedmoor to even think about doing that in 2025!

BTW - there's a glut of 338's down here. Many new Chinese immigrants rushed out and bought one, often Sako, before realising that there's not many opportunities to shoot it. I do have a Barnard - just to turn the daughters inheritance into noise.
