Still my favorite cartridge ever. Theres just something about it.

If a guy were looking to build a big “bench” gun to shoot out to about 1 mile on paper, would you recommend your 338 LMI over a 300 PRC or 300 norma improved for raw accuracy?

I would. I took mine out for the first time in 4 months with ammo loaded from last trip. 600 yards cold bore 3 shot group

I would, A couple years back we tagged out elk hunting early and set up a target at 1 mile. Hit an 18x30 inch target 3 out of 4 shots. The 1 miss was the 1st shot, and it was a little high. They are fun to shoot and very accurate.
