338 Edge w/ 300grn Lapua Scenar's

Has anyone tried the 300grn Lapua Scenar's in your 338 Edge?

Just wondering, would you "jam" them or stay back off about .080?

I am using H1000, N165 and RL25 Powders

??? I was also looking at the 225grn Triple Shock bullets for the 338, got to be bad *##.

My 338/300 Ultra shoots both the 300 Sierra and the 300 Bergers in the lands with a square mark, so I'd start there with the Lapuas if I was so inclined to give them a whirl. I shoot the 155 Lapuas in the lands as well......

Re: Your comment about the Barnes TS. I have used them extensively in a custom .338 Rem. UM. Loaded with MRP, I get 2986fps with the 250gr. in the hot African sun It is the most effective non dangerous game load the Professional Hunters have ever seen and they have been in business 40 years. The Barnes has a lower BC because of all the grooves but accuracy is way under MOA.
If you want a game bullet, go with Barnes.
