Yes breech seat.just bought it as set up.Verrrry nice! New build or just new to you? Will it be a breech seat proposition?
Cast bullets only.it has barely a shoulder at all.Very nice looking rifle. What do the cartridges look like? Sharp ackley shoulder or more relaxed ? Also are you shooting cast bullets or jacketed?
The Fecker telescope looks like one I have. What power, and did it come with the rifle?Yes breech seat.just bought it as set up.
I think 7.5x .I already had the scopeThe Fecker telescope looks like one I have. What power, and did it come with the rifle?
I was too lazy to check twist .guessing 1-12 minimum based on the bullet length it stabilized.Very good work! What is the twist rate? I have a Hepburn chambered in 32-40 Win that will get it’s maiden voyage very soon.
There was a few guys a number of years ago with quite success in the ASSRA. Nowadays people are doing so well with 25 calibers and 32 calibers it's probably not worth the extra lead and recoil to shoot a 33. But I always wanted one.Looks reasonable to start with, haven`t seen anyone shooting the 33 in a long time.
Thanks for the load data with H110 I have quite a bit of it. I have a Douglas barrel from my CPA that is a bit tight at .3345. It has just A 32 40 chamber in it .I modified a .32 bullet mold With A.336 baseband and also opened up the front bands to 327. and I'm trying to see if I can get it to shoot before I decide what I'm going to do with it.I've been shooting a 33-47 in schuetzen since 1990 and it has won me a lot of prizes at the Coors Schuetzenfest both in Golden, Co. and Raton, NM.
Here are a few of my targets.
