325 WSM

I've been shooting one for a few years now and it is a fantastic round. Mine really likes the 220gr Sierra, shooting it into consistant 0.5MOA groups.

I've used it on several deer and it has performed very well with minimal meat damage. It also worked very well on the one elk I've shot with it so far.

A fair bit of punch with pretty mild recoil.

Cappy, what kind of rifle and barrel etc....

.5 moa is really good, my factory a-bolt 7mm WSM will do about 1 moa at 500y, and about 1.5 moa at 1000, i wanted to go with the 325 wsm, but i just didnt know anything about the cartridge...

Believe it or not it is a plain jane Winchester Super Shadow. Shoots 150gr Hornady's almost as well, which makes for a good practice round. 200gr Speers looked like a shotgun pattern averaging in the 2.5 - 3.5 inch range, but for some reason the 220gr Sierras sure shoot well. I just had it out at the beginning of the season and the 1st group at 220 yards came in at a nice 1.5" the 2nd group shot a ragged hole that measured 0.391".
