30BRX / 30 Dasher brass

Wondering how you guys are making your 30 Dasher brass. I am finding the best way to ensure shoulders do not split is to:

Hydro form into 6 dasher
Expand to 308
Turn to barely kiss shoulder to let fire forming blow out the shoulder

if you ordered the FL die also run the turned case thru it....

looks like you may have had a leak or ya didn't hit the plunger hard enough.. just guessing !

These cases are culled out pieces of brass. These have the famous "crack" or "crease" in the shoulder that Lapua 6mmbr case are famous for. Since I have several of these pieces of brass, I was experimenting with those before using the good cases.

i've had some of those in my first 6br build ab didn't know it... thought it was the gun.. lol's
experimenting with the humer.. i used new an old cases some anneald an some not from rem, win, hornady, norma, fed cases.. fire formed an hydraulic so i know what your going thru.. one thing i did realize is that i'd rather have the case blow out in the die then in the gun..
