.308 suppressed load

So finally was able to get my new suppressor out to camp today to test it out.

Had a hard time finding load data so tried the folllowing
Hornady 180g bullet with 13.5g of H4895

The pics show the folloiwng

Group with circle is non suppressed
Group with line around holes is suppressed with normal loads
Group that’s low and at 7 o’clock is the suppressed load with suppresor

I have the Banish 30 from silencer central. These shots were only 50 yards but overall not too bad IMHO

Wait, what? What are we trying to figure out? 1 or 2 shot groups? Point of impact with or without suppressor? Or?

Some suppressed loads using Hornady bullets. Again at only 50 yards

If you're hunting just use your hunting load, you're not gaining anything by using suppressed loads w/the Banish

how much did it reduce the noise?

I will work out to 100 than 200 yards just haven’t had time with work, daughter graduating high school and other life stuff. I bumped the loads up a little bit not much either rounded up or down from what the manual suggested.

I was able to shoot with no ear plugs. Maybe as load as a .22 or less.

I have the same can, a Banish 30, in my .308 I don’t bother with subsonic ammo. In fact, I don’t typically hunt with subsonic ammo at all. An exception is standard velocity rimfire in my squirrel gun, it sports a Banish 22. I do use the suppressor while hunting and my rifles are noticeably quieter than unsuppressed. If I want to get really quiet then I load 200 grain bullets to 1050fps or so in the .300 Blackout. The .308 case has way more case capacity than needed for subsonic loads.
